One of my favorite short stories “All you Zombies” was about a guy who’d been camping for weeks & cleared some kind of brain washing sent thru the TV. When he went to DC it was a smoking crater, Hitler was alive, etc. At the end, his interlocutor showed him his fancy mobile TV

My cousins were born in Montana. They moved to Canada 45 years ago. But my mother's ashes are there, which may explain some of the weirder anomalies. She's probably haunting one of the mining ghost towns.
