Mind blown by the thought that these dimensionality problems that have to be “solved” for systems to scale (and persist) might generalize to more abstract systems in need of stability like a bureaucratic system. What are the big floppy ears of a free market system?

Surface area to volume ratio crops all through physiology, and especially in pediatrics. Children are different from adults in large part because of the SA/V ratio.
