Oops, sorry, this was actaully Typescript. in WebStorm. But for typescript `Settings/Preferences | Editor | Color Scheme | Language Defaults / TypeScript` BlockComments have no background set; it JS which also has no bg set, which inherits from defaults which is also no bg.
In another fie, it doesn't do it though. So I feel like it's a syntax error that I don't unerstand
