In any event, I'm not sure what my government structure is. But throwing monkey wrenches in information processing systems is the far crazier thing. You don't need to assume uniform competency. But you can't anneal at high temps.
There's less monkey wrench-throwing than you think, and more right-side lack of expertise at the administrative state generally. @jadler1969 has written some about this. But even an expert administration will run into Hayek's problem of knowledge.
I think there's far more than you think. Although, it's not something I have any interest in twitter debating. I once believed the same thing. After Cato, I event started a Ph.D. to prove something related to it.
