I want to try it, but given my tendency to hit snooze/ignore push notifications, my hopes are not high.

For me the first Pomodoro makes all the difference: it makes me start on things, and build momentum from that. When I finally do start :) Sometimes I actually turn it off after the first one as when I'm coding or writing I'd rather stay in the flow for longer.

When i do it (for real, not just 'kinda') I'm at least 3x as productive as when i don't. I like the
