Interstellar migration to an Earth-like planet is technically more feasible than terraforming. I have no idea, at all, if that’s true. The distances are incomprehensible to me. But engineering a planet seems unimaginably difficult.

Just spit balling here, but taking care of the planet we have, the one that exists, the one we are perfectly adapted to, seems like it would be easier than either of the first two options. Usually when we go somewhere new we just bring our same problems along with us.
