My take: for human collaboration at large. Given the resources we have, how far can we go in increasing well being for all? But that's my proposal. Happy to debate alternatives :)

Granted they may not stay, as you alluded to. To which I was told: "make sure single player mode is compelling, too." Been thinking about that a lot recently. (It would make sense for knowledge graphs, too.)

I agree. I think a "killer feature" of a new social network is something that makes it works well (e.g. add high value) for small n in Metcalfe's terms. This bootstraps. Like everything I say, the preceding might or might not be trivially true/obvious/wrong :)

In the case of what I call Agora, that could be: - Allow groups of small size to cooperate to reach stated goals (for example by way of simple resource sharing; start with information and money). - Encourage groups with conflicting identities to find common beliefs and values.
