okay I admit that "wildly confused" wasn't fair and was unproductive. I suppose, to be defensive about having been rude, it frustrates me to see Trump himself treated as this quasi-mythical creature by detractors and supporters alike. he's not the only publicity savant

(Not so coincidentally that’s the part that made me reject the 2008 Obama campaign. I may disagree with a lot of what he says now, but the gene Healy’s Cult of the Presidency idea does identify a deep symptom.)
