Startup Twitter: Do you have any good examples of VC-funded companies that were able to resist the demands for hyper-growth at the expense of what they wanted to build?

(Of course what VC's fund in the first place is a strong filter.)

The incentive structures of VC mostly demand hyper-growth from their successes. If you take the money, that’s the terms.

Yea. I really don't think it's possible to take the money and do the things I want to do. But, I'm also sure that I haven't figured out how to do the things I want to do without funding... ...then again, you seem to be building really cool stuff!https://twitter.com/generativist/status/1211323741927403521 …

Grassroots is what I’ve done for 4 years now, lemme know what it is you’re trying to gain users/clients via dm, and I can offer my time for free to give you next steps from a digital marketing perspective. Chances are it’s low hanging fruit because people suck at SEO.

I’m bootstrapping. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
