28/ re:26/ “Microaggression” is an example of a term that is either communicatively useful or detrimental depending on your skin color. Since there are currently way more white people in the US, it probably replicates and reinforces racism, on balance.

If you mean arguing, I'd agree. There are sometimes places where you can interact with an edgelord when he's not edging. I wouldn't urge anyone to seek it out, but I don't know if it does any harm.

(I'd say there's at least more reason to interact with these people than with the late middle aged civility mongers. Edgelords sometimes grow out of it.)
