Twitter collapses everything into one dimensional. "Trends for you" is just algorithmic contention.
I work a lot in the sense of hours spent doing brain-y things. But that's not the same as putting in 100 hours a week on my project. I spend a ridiculous amount of time learning and exploring due to some mixture of pleasure and, well tbh, compulsion.
BUT lots of what I want to do now requires distance so I'm trying to strike a new balance. For me, I think that means less isolated sprinting and more of team running. And I think that applies to a lot of the people who celebrate overwork.
