I sent an email last week to a potential funder. On the last minor edit — right before smashing that send button — I introduced a typo on the first sentence. ...haven't heard back yet...

I said “ok good night” to an academic who I admired greatly at a conference once, after he complemented me on the talk I gave. It was noon.

Hahahah. Somehow, we've all been there. My favorite isn't mine. I was on a conference call at a research lab and someone (who I knew was sleep-deprived) did the, "aright, love you," to the group instead of "good bye." I thought it was great but she was mortified.

Wow. We have the same brain. I too have accidentally said “ok love you” too many times. Gas station cashier....cafe barista...colleagues.
