#golang is not a good language for me.
At least not right now for solo prototyping.
It's premature optimization that cost me a months.

In a microservice context Go excels when you *need* the concurrency and fast execution speed somewhere. To use it for anything other than what it excels at and what you need it for when there are so many other technologies available would only make sense when you are constrained

Yea that’s where I went wrong. The concurrency is so wonderful I started adopting it everywhere from day 1. But — with a few exceptions — my time is what binds, not the cpu time. But now I know go and can apply it more appropriately

It might not fit your use case but you can get a lot of productivity in python with cython for the hotspots
