"Politics is boring." It's really not. Boring to you, perhaps -- which signals either a lack of curiosity or experientially-permitted indifference. But, it's not boring. "Politics is pointless." It's not. It is an endless struggle of competing power. So really its Sisyphean.

Cruise through someone's likes & see if they chip in on anything political? Other people's likes are so under-used.

I don't have that kind of patience. Plus I really think likes should be mostly about liker <-> likee interactions. Not private, per se, but mostly a nod.

I filter politics.
I used to be so into politics that I listened to several think tank talk videos per week. But I've been through enough cycles to know politics is about power sharing not problem solving. Sometimes people with power feel like solving problems. Sometimes not. -
