The procedure is for intense pain reduction.
I wish they could be held liable for it in a legal sense.

She has called almost every day for two weeks. It doesn't do anything. No one knows what they're doing and each department says something conflicting and has different and incompatible views of her information.

I will. But so far this has wasted literally hours of her time — at work, all the while still in pain and anxiously anticipating the unjustifiably denied procedure — so I hope this isn't more of the same nonsense.
