I'm pretty sure the time and space complexity of morality is exponential in the number of facts but that doesn't seem to stop everyone from injecting every single fucking ancillary fact that lends increasing coherence to their subjective experiences into The Discourse.

Consequentialist moral systems (for instance utilitarianism) generally have this property. But there are other options. Many on Twitter also have a tendency to moral universalism (the idea that every situation has a moral interpretation) which adds to the complexity as well.

I subscribe to idea of bounding ones morality. One should try to have a set of moral commitments that doesn't place an unsustainable burden on you and your family.

For instance, some would argue that liberally using the mute button is immoral or less than ideally moral. But I think subject to the constrained optimization problem of being realistic and not over-burdening yourself and your family, it is the most moral choice for most people.
