1/ How I want to spend my time and how I would spend my time given fuck you money are near indistinguishable. It took me until my 30s to figure that out.

2/ Growing up, I wanted to make gargantuan piles of money. I thought that was my goal. Admittedly, I've thus far failed to do so. But in retrospect, it's not surprising -- I didn't really spend my energy on that.

3/ Mostly, I spent my time learning and trying to figure stuff out because that's what gets me high. If I had fuck you money -- and I am working on it -- the thing that would change is mostly: I'd be able to *pay* a team of people to work on what I want worked on *with me*.

4/ This may not be useful to anyone. But if you're young and grinding for money, step back occasionally and consider if you just love the grind and are already...idk, polishing your gemstone. It may be a useful realization for you.

Theres a special kind of rush in creating something that I think you can only get from knowing that a total loss is an option. If you had all the money in the world it would certainly be easier to start projects and likely make them more successful, or with more ease but
