Really depends on what features you’re looking for and the set up you were designing around. I have a dedicated theater room and after nine months of research I settled on the Epson Pro Cinema 4050 4K PRO-UHD Projector.

I evaluated a few things: 1) light level performance: Most entry range models have a crisp picture if the room is totally dark, ok if you have a theater room with blackout shades tougher if it's in a more open room. I wanted the flexibility to have a crisp picture in either.

2) precision motor: having multiple controls (in/out, left/right, up/down) to really dial in the projection was really important. 3) something to grow into: i don't have much 4k content but knowing i can expand into that was a nice to have.

This is good to hear, I'm interested but it's so easy to spend > 10k and I'm not at that level of commitment yet
