[What I'm struggling with today] Assumption: For a social media app, "going viral" is often a make-or-break moment. Implication: You need to be able to scale well ASAP. Problem: My system feels pretty damn complex for a prototype. Like, it has a map.

I meant more like, I built something and, hypothetically, Wired Magazine covered or something, and during the coverage it slowed to the point of non-usability.
