1/ I think there is something between a package and a gist that would be extremely useful for programming. Like, a pure, no rights reserved code fragments to do predictive snippets over.
3/ I bet @github could pull this off. (@devonzuegel does something like this exist that you know of?) If not, maybe @StackOverflow could, but I know nothing of the implicit licensing for code snippets on their existing corpus.

4/ I have so many silly http://common.py files that litter my
@jupyter projects that get stuffed with disappearing helper code cruft that I inevitably delete.
