Wait what why? Maybe I'm missing how big a building we're talking. I just moved from a medium apartment building and I always had plenty of time to get downstairs before a Lyft arrived, even if they were around the corner
-
Big enough that you're +/-3 minutes

It depends on expectations for arrival. So I was in a hote in Richmond and it takes 5 to 10 min to get an ride. I would be less likely to do this in a location with greater density.

Yea definitely

How disappointed in humanity are you now?

Actually, this sorta validated my expectations. So maybe just...durably? (Although, all of this is gonna be pretty biased because I've lived in really lyft-dense places.)

I never am late for my lyft, but always strive to be right on time, I request the lyft from the plane once the door opens in Pittsburgh, it’s quite a hike, but always takes 6-7 minutes for the lyft for some reason
-
Ah yea. I finally started doing that for EWR. Airports bend the laws of spacetime.

JFC how am *I* in the minority here?! I mean I never considered myself a fucking saint but I just thought it was inefficient to make them wait etc. in case I can’t get down in time and they leave. So I just call rideshare when am like halfway down the elevator at the earliest.
