Academic friends in social sciences! (And them alone, please.) Are you using a graph database in your network analyses?
I think that's really it, right? There's a missing low-friction piece still, less in initialization and more in on-ramp time.

There’s that, but it’s also that graph databases seem to work really well for the tutorial use cases, but Postgres has been hardened in the real world, included a lot of network use cases. It’s been able to handle anything I’ve thrown at it.

I usually want to do aggregate statistics as well as network analytics, so the benefit of the graph databases diminishes pretty quick.
