My entry to classical music was partly inspired by the amazing Mozart movie. You get a sense of where the emotion in the music is coming from which makes it feel more genuine (even if the movie isn’t 100% accurate, the acting/costumes/writing/set design is all top notch!)

If you can get to a live performance, do it! The sound of a full orchestra in the room with you is hard to beat. Here's one of my favorite Vivaldi songs, at Presto speed, 8 minutes into this video:https://youtu.be/g65oWFMSoK0

And if you're looking for emotional/intense music, I suggest checking out Beethoven

Please consider chamber music as a way to become more acquainted with the genre. For me, it's more expressive in the emotions. My personal favorite is the Dvořák Piano Quintet No. 2, especially the second movement. It's so lovely (here at 10:08):https://youtu.be/npYih1VfWLk
