Deplatforming works individually. Milo, who? Deplatforming works systemically? Dunno. What about isolating collectively? Like, if we all blocked Dinesh D'Souza -- tearing him out of the fabric that is our social attention -- would he wither? Does he need conflict to persist?
That's not my question. I'm probing the oxygen-to-fuel-fires-systemically question. As in, if my social immune system had the capabilities to collectively elide these performances, do they wither for lack of collisions -- that's what they partially act as, schelling points.
