Meh. Maybe. And perhaps he's not a great example. But deplatforming certainly does increase costs to marketing that type of parasitic ploy. It's entirely reasonable to think it increases failure probability to individuals and small-moderate entities.

It's also not at all the point to me. The systemic effects seem pretty terrible, even in terms of "this is effectively a NOOP that you spend treasure on to execute when looked at from a systemic perspective." It just falls to the next asshole in line, so...

That's not my question. I'm probing the oxygen-to-fuel-fires-systemically question. As in, if my social immune system had the capabilities to collectively elide these performances, do they wither for lack of collisions -- that's what they partially act as, schelling points.

Yea, I'm focusing on the demand side with them as like. collision-spaces / combat arenas. How many people follow those people to make finding "lets to verbal battle!" in mentions all day. If it's just a circle jerk, I assume it's *less* fun

On SSB, because it's a gossip protocol, visibility is based on number of hops from peers. A side effect: collective blocking functionally blocks individually (even against direct messages).

Dinesh is likely to thrive in an echo chamber. What might be better is to have the best dunks and debunks show up on top of his trash, and a button where I can "show dunked on trash for 1 hour", where the default is to block him if I sign on to the "Objective Reality" coalition.
