That was the original suspicion I believe. Or MS. Neither of which is the current DX, although both were tested for with imaging (and other things, I think.)

I'll also recommend a physical therapist or theraputic massage therapist. My massage lady was able to work the knots out of my neck muscles (mostly on my right side from using the mouse) and give me exercises to use on a daily basis. It was magical.

They have done so multiple times a week for several months. The softening of muscle tension proves extremely short-lived. (But thanks for the recommendation!)

My mom has had pain in her neck a lot, and she was diagnosed with stenosis. I don’t know if that helps, but I hope it does. I hope your friend gets past the pain.

Yea, it's no joke. They are in PT, multiple times per week, for about 6 months now. No relief, and the triggers have proven difficult to reproduce, if they even exist. (Thank you for your response though.)
