Before I had surgery to remove the cancerous tumor from my head, I read the radiologist’s report. After describing the tumor, he used language like, “clival scalloping is unimpressive.” So much of high brow commentary reads like that while carefully avoiding talk about the tumor.

It really comes across as a slap - the perils of Twitter without context. ... maybe since I live with someone who has had four kinds of cancer, including a glioblastoma, this hit me wrong. Carry on!
