I’ve used Carolina barbecue sauce in a pinch (which was basically vinaigrette when I read the ingredients) and it was pretty good. It had the be Carolina style though, I would think.

I’ve done that too. Really BBQ sauce is salt to me at this point — goes in everything. But I didn’t have any of that either.
