Like, I think there is a sizable number of people on here who think love for trains and light rail is an economic position and a social signal. This isn’t that. Cars are terrible. Why would I want to spend my energy and attention on transportation when I can just sit instead.

I'm here as well. I hate cars. I'd like to live somewhere where a car isnt a necessity and get rid of it immediately. Was past due for an oil change for 3 months and was approaching I what will happen when I just run out of oil before my husband gave in and got it serviced

When I moved to Montreal, the first thing I did was sell my car and take public transit for six years. Very freeing decision. Then I moved to Seattle.

Cars Are the Worst. With the added aggravation that if you have beyond-reasonable-traffic in your city, you're spending a lot of time in this ugh-on-wheels. We need apparition. (Kinda got away from reality there but that's what happens if you spend too much time in a car -_- )
