1/ Now that I'm no longer in a Ph.D. program with a cohort, I feel a lot less comfortable asking people to review my work (even for blog posts) because the expectation of reciprocity is reduced. It's frustrating.

I have this anxiety & I'm deciding I shouldn't care. A bulk of it is the cost of being wrong in public (especially as a minority) but society should move to allow for errors and dynamic imperfection. I think just post it, if someone reads it willingly, feedback can be a thanks.

Depends on the venue. Online? Fire away. All this stuff is just barely above ephemera. Journal article? Book? Those require more editorial iterations. Publicly catching, acknowledging, correcting, and owning mistakes is healthy for everyone.
