Weight lifting friends: I was in an incident five years ago that herniated L3/L4. Since then I've tried getting back to deadlifts & squats; but, each time, I eventually re-injure myself. I think it's time to recognize I can't do either anymore. So... ...what can I do instead?

It's a must depending of injury severity. Doing foam rolling (also using a lacrosse ball for specific muscles) and hip exercises made me sciatic free (95% of my time I don't have pain). You could also do resistance band training.

I found
@mobilitywod super helpful. 10-15 minutes every morning, well worth the $10
