Really excited, I just signed up for an agent based modeling mooc that'll keep me busy through the summer ^_^
Now would probably be a good time to go through the old CSS thread that @generativist had in preparation.

Oh wow, you're right. I've interacted with you more on Twitter and know that your thesis involves ABM and the American political system. I saw abm and my brain defaulted to you. Mea culpa
@MrMeritology , I meant no disrespect ^_^2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

Do you have the thread link, I couldn't find it and should bookmark it for the future.

I think I do on my personal laptop at home. I'm currently using my work laptop, so when I get home I'll look for it. My knowledge about modeling only really comes from the Quant class for poli sci undergrads and my econometrics class, so I need to buckle down and read up.

It's a great time to learn -- so many incredible tools!

Yeah, I'm really excited to learn and take advantage of all the resources on here. I'm pretty sure I can excel in anything I put my mind to, the only difficulty in the past has been keeping focused and sticking with stuff. This summer will be a good trial period for that ^_^

My (admittedly unsolicited) advice? - Use
@ProjectJupyter lab - Create a Jupyter notebook for each learning session - Go back to look at your notes as you go. It helps accelerate learning. And, most importantly -- HAVE FUN!1 reply 1 retweet 1 like -
It wouldn't have been unsolicited for long, so don't fret about that. I'll be sure to do that, and I'll do my best to enjoy myself
