Scenario 1: *Builds computational immune system via twitter API* Me: This reduces bad interactions significantly! Twitter: And engagements. Me: The system is healthier! Twitter: We can't push as many ads. Me: Users are happy! Twitter: *mute/block API has been retired*

To be fair, the alternative to profit maximising VCs is decentralisation and some form of hash/cryptographic infrastructures and local economies. VCs wanna get Bezos rich. Crypto idiots wanna go to the moon. Normal people want fair exchange & autonomy

Yea. I'm sorta leaning towards building a scaffold that benefits (computationally) from the initial centralization but plans and designs for eventual decentralization.

Scenario 4: Like Scenario 1 but accompanied by schmoozing with legislators so that it can't be shut down (as easily?). Capitalism is hard to solve and requires collective action. You can't do it on your own... even (especially?) with Kickstarter.

I think my Scenario 2/3 has some cool properties though. One that you especially will appreciate and I'll share with you soon! (After I finish reading your appendix.)
