A (semi-common?) #OSS conflict.
I've been thinking that,
I should give some of my OSS repos
to people interested in maintaining
them for the sake of my time.
but,
They are also a real form of capital
so I don't want to give them away.
I thought I remember @devonzuegel talking about this but I couldn't find the source.

in terms of social captial giving away is usually much > than keeping, and you can always show up to their conferences or whatever you'd consider the brag equivalent of having a bunch of stuff attributed to you

Yea, I think that's def true. Although, there's also cases where giving it away harms your reputation, too. In a few cases, I felt like the new (already overworked) maintainer resented that I gave them yet another thing to maintain for the sake of their community.
