I've had that but for me it's usually Twitter's algorithm just not putting their stuff on my feed.

Yea. That bothers me too. There's a drift away that occurs for stochastic reasons that I wish I could prevent by pinning or something.

I usually just skip ahead to direct messaging them saying “ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU HAVING A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN?? I KNOW WE DONT ACTUALLY KNOW EACH OTHER, BUT LET ME KNOW IF THERE’S ANYTHING I CAN DO.” Then they write back, “...I’m fine. Just been busy. Like a Normal Person.”

ah damn. I mean, definitely do what you need to do, but I feel like the people who I enjoy talking to are the ones experiencing the most leave pressure. It's not great.
