P.S. @AdamSinger your thread from this morning kinda inspired me to revisit my post from 2016. After my defense in two weeks, I want to build / design systems that let me go from [I know this is how I should respond] to [this system makes it the path of least resistance].

Also, in retrospect,
@Aelkus I think I digitally-met you around that time, and you're the person that comes to mind of "this is closer to how I think you should (choose not to) react."Show this thread

Calling Trump Hari Seldon gives him too much credit for a broader awareness. I'd frame him more as Hari Seldon's repressed id let loose. Or, even better, one of the demagogues played by Seldon to manipulate groups.

That said, I do think your description of Trump's actions and motivations is accurate and is something that has continued to play out as you described it.

Okay, finally a tweet of yours residing in my wheelhouse. I'm a shade tree Foundation Trilogy docent. I love your (2016) analysis of our plight, and your solutions (
@Teri_Kanefield ), but please, for the love of Trantor, DO NOT compare Trump to Seldon. Lots of reasons.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
