So perhaps not globally hypo-focused but globally hyper-focused on too many targets? Perhaps assign every other day to only tackling edits or only tackling presentation prep?

That may be it. There was this part in Children of the Mind when Jane was looking for a place to mentally live by constantly cycling through the mother-trees. Kinda a weird reference, but I think that's how I feel?

I’ve spent the past year juggling multiple roles and trying to dissertate. I’m definitely scattered. Got the proposal submitted Wednesday, though, so we can still put one proverbial foot in front of the other even while scattered!
