I think it’s perfect. Honestly I’m the opposite-I am/was so reluctant to do a PhD bc of mets fears. My oncologist actually strongly advised against it “oh gawd please don’t stress yourself out.”

It’s definitely what I call a mind-tickle. The rarity, reading every single paper (there’s not many), comparing my tumor’s characteristics to the tables of mortality. But I said then: I kick life in the balls every goddamn day & this is no different. Just need to moderate myself.
