1/ I've seen this sentiment a few times recently, and it's making #pythonista me worried. I think our community is kind and friendly. But, I also think, "what community?" It's difficult to know how a newbie feels if you're a long-time part of a community. It's also tough to know what a woman or person of color feels when interacting with or observing your community if you aren't one.
