2/ There are two general problems I want to work on, and I have to choose one. Working on Simon's "Designing [systems] for an Information Rich World" matches all my prior work really well, and it certainly feels like a worthwhile issue!

3/ But, doing research at or through facebook/twitter feels limiting. Now, to be clear, their research divisions do incredible work. I follow people on here in those positions who I greatly admire. But, I can't help but feel as if their energies are filtered by other interests.
