1/ Who do you think *influences* you most on twitter?
For me,
- @Aelkus (big overlap in agreement, but where we disagree I listen)
- @MaureenBug (slugs and stuff)
- @kareem_carr (makes me realize how much causal inference training I'm missing)

Re: Causal Inference. There are many schools. 1. Potential Outcomes(PO) 2. DAGs & do Calculus 3. G-methods, PO & DAGs (my school) 4. Econometrics - Instrumental Variables - Difference in difference - Regression discontinuity 5. Mendelian Randomization 6. Propensity Scores 7. TMLE

I'm slowly reading through
@yudapearl's Causality: Models, Reasoning and Inference. It's very hard given my proximity to defense now. But post defense, gonna spend a few hours with it each morning until I have a better map. - 1 more reply

Awww. Thanks buddy! Your tweets are too complex to reduce to a single thing. But I like them!

Thanks! A friend recently described mine as a combination of pot-induced shitposts; the ravings of a person who spends too much time in abstract spaces; and, interspersed good advice. I'd be okay-to-happy if that was accurate.
