I do sincerely pity him. I think he's doing this because, obviously, his loyalty was unrewarded and he's scorned. And, I don't think any of this excuses his complicity. But, he's going to jail for his role. And that role was, primarily, being a billionaire's expendable schlub.

I will say this, though: He's offering some pretty effective rebuttals to GOP congressmen. But it may also be that the latter just lack the rhetorical talent and cognitive abilities that otherwise should be expected of elected officials.

Yea, he is. And, I think it's partially part of his Better Call Saul charm. If you're willing to do some shady things for decades, you're going to pick up some useful strategies -- and no one expects that from you.

No. And, most are in my past now, for no other reason than that unpleasant drift that comes with growing older. But, one guy I'm still very close with made this exact point using himself as the example: "Game recognizes game" type stuff.
