1/ I just had a follower DM me to say that he generally mutes anyone who does an ask-for-responses thread then retweets the replies because it's 'spammy' and a 'annoying'. (I asked if I can quote.) I guess it has noisy/spammy properties...
2/ But I kinda see it as I have a platform for arbitrary reasons, and sharing what my follower's say is signal, too. And, I generally appreciate others who do that (eg @dataandpolitics, @girlziplocked, @visakanv).
Do other people think it's annoying and sanction it with muting?

P.S. I agreed with
@TheAnnaGat's reply to@devonzuegel's post a few weeks back. But, now that I got feedback... ...I'm actually more conflicted.https://twitter.com/TheAnnaGat/status/1093307492698869760 …Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I personally don’t think it’s a huge deal and mostly wouldn’t mute or unfollow anyone who does this. If it becomes overwhelming for some reason, I might turn off their RTs. That said, people do have very different standards and expectations on all of this

Yea. I was surprised exactly because of that -- disliking it is far from my standards so I didn't expect it.
