Wait really? What is it? I'd like to think they just call them wiggle butts, but that can't be true.

My doggo does this (and I call her "wigglebutt") and there's a not-so-occasional complaint from my wife that doggo's butt-wiggling instantly draws my attention and affections. ...but, how could a person not respond to all that enthusiasm?

My dad had an Aussie for years. She was the smartest dog I had know prior to my current Cocker. But one day my dad broke pattern & parked his pickup facing the other direction. Doggo ran, jumped, & spread eagle onto the hood of his truck. Dad still tells that story & I laugh.
