We don't communicate this way, generally. We sample over considerations generated by our belief system not over the graph of extant quantitative human knowledge. We can (and do) try to align the two -- but in our massively complex environment, that can also stunt the imagination.

@kareem_carr's final point stuck in my head. Thanks to twitter, I think I've habitually forgotten the last part. Provoked anger in argumentation induces consideration sampling that exacerbates errors with respect to extant education *while* also inhibiting the imagination!Show this thread

Or approach with curiosity. It's ok to state something you're unsure about, raising it as a possibility. Not necessary to debate everything on here in order to win, you can "debate" with the intention of exploration as well...
