Yep, that's me! My dissertation is a computational attempt to show that, under very, very mild and prosocial conditions, the social integration of information (using stereotypes as proxy for reliability) induces errors with often pathological effects. It'll be a git repo soon!

Yes :) Or at least, it suggests that: Constructing a medium in which stereotypes are always accessible as well as relatively information-rich and reliable may have some consequences.

I tend to model this as: everyone's reality tunnels got blended together because the internet combined our subjective experiences a decade or three faster than could have happened without it, and we weren't ready. But I like that you're looking at the mechanics of that process!
