Well-said. BUT (ha) - that way, you still get the freedom of speech and expression, without the pitfalls of pissing off your boss or accidentaly opting out of future opportunities. FF: most applying med students kill, or change the names on, their social media accts. Makes sense.

It shouldn't be necessary, but, in the words of a recent interviewer explaining the psych profile part of the day: "Would you want to work with a dick?" Sometimes, being outspoken also means being intolerant. Certainly not always, but it's a factor.
