I’m not sure which this would fall under, given there’s no additional context, but my money would be on option #2. I don’t think the resulting catfight is intentional though, especially as that cat fight means they two predators don’t leave.

There’s a ton of these videos around though. So think it’s just that crows are gonna pull tails, cats are gonna fight, and sometimes the two are going to intersect.

The one thing I will say though is that these videos almost always feature hooded crows. And that does make me question if there might be something different going on in this system then a simple statistical likelihood.
