Remember how Dr. Grant said "Don’t move! It can’t see us if we don’t move." That probably wouldn't have been true for the good old T. Rex. But I think it is true for H. sapiens when it comes to perceiving social or environmental changes below some threshold rate.

Add an aside, I never got what the evidentiary basis for that claim was supposed to be in the film. It always seemed pretty bold to bet your life on a hypothesis like that based on a theory developed from fossil data.
