It's incredible how much friction it removes. Like, without it, I'd probably write a lot more sloppy fixes rather than looking up the original function.

Yea. Easier file navigation. Fast access to a list of running kernels. Tabbed notebooks (and consoles / text editors / terminals) It's integrated in a way that still feels like a light IDE.
